Soul Crushing Spicy Foods For Life!!!

WALT create a quality blog post that is ‘perfect’ and shares your favourite food!

I simply enjoy eating spicy food, It can be anything you just need to add spice. Spicy foods can be sauces with pepper, it may be a little zesty and flavourful. My tongue it’s like it’s immune to spice but with my sister Elena it’s soul crushing for her. It’s the GOAT food, a lively, spirited and entertaining food.

It was challenging to find exciting words that are related to our food.It was hard but I think I made it work.I enjoyed finding photos for my DLO.

Do you like spice YES or NO?Let me know in the comments.

Mother’s Day

Dear Mum,

You are the kindest mum in the whole world. Mum you are a ray of sun guiding its way towards me. I was so lucky to have you as my Mum, you are brave, strong and most of all full of joy. Hope you have an amazing Mothers Day.

Lots of love Nova.

Anzac poem

WALT share our Anzac learning in an acrostic poem.

When I first started this all the words just started coming out of me. The Z and the Y letter was very hard to find but when I saw Arlens one it gave me an Idea. Then the teacher said we were aloud to use short phrases it made it so much more easy. Next I got a publishing paper and wrote in my very best hand writing, I got lots of pretty colours and traced it.After I had to blog about it.

I enjoyed colouring in the letters.

I found it hard to cut and glue my poppies onto it.

What kind of acrostic poem have you made?Let me know in the comments.

Maths

WALT know how large fractions are.

This mahi was a very big step up from what we were learning about fractions last term.Even though it was hard I enjoyed it very much I think I’m getting better at fractions every second I think about it.

I liked this activity because I very good at fractions.I wish there was more work like this.

Are you good at fractions?Let me know in the comments.

Digital footprint

WALT make a positive digital footprint.

When we go into the word art we had to type in all of the names of the things that I was on when I was on a device. We looked on our history and we tried to remember ourselves. After we chose our shape and font then we visualised it next we screen captured it and added it to our blog.

I found it hard to delete all of the other words that I didn’t want.

I enjoyed picking the font and choosing the shape.

Next time I would probably chose a animal shape.

Have you ever done a word art?Let me know in the comments.

Chunuk bair

WALT connect with and understand the experiences of solders in the Anzac poem by writing a journal entry that expresses their feelings and thoughts.

First we got out our reading book to write a story about if we were in the war, we had to talk about our surroundings and how we felt. Then we went into google drawing to make a poppy out of shapes. After we made a google doc writing our story and inserting our poppy.Last we had blog about it.

I enjoyed writing a story of me in the war I really stepped out of my comfort zone.

I found it hard to make a poppy out of shapes, it was challenging but I made it work.

What do you know about Anzac?let me know in the comments.

Sailing

WALT sail.

On Thursday the whole class went to Taipa bay to learn how to sail. When we got there Steph and Averill taught us how to set up a sailing boat and taught us the names of the rudder the kicker the boom and a lot of other stuff. The rudder controls how you steer the boat the boom is the bottem part of the sail and the kicker holds down the sail so it doesn’t lift up.When you get on the boat you need to connect your boat to the boat behind you. After we went deeper into the water we unconnected all the boats and we played a game of tag first one to touch the engine of the boat won.No one really won but everyone said they did.Next we started to flip the boat my heart was betting so fast but in the end.

I think that learning how to set up a sailing boat will come very handy in the future. If you want to learn how to steer a boat you have to be very strong if there is a current.I enjoyed fliping the boats even though it was the hardest part there.

Have you ever been sailing?Let me know in the comments.

Camp

WALT be good at camp

On Tuesday we went to camp at topou bay it was quite a long time to get to camp but when we got there me April and Alyssa had to carry all of our stuff to our tent and set up our bed. After me Alyssa and April went to go play on the playground just before dinner I really liked the spaghetti Bolognase and nachos. On Wednesday we all went to the beach and got into our groups to go of to surfing, kayaking, beach fun and a creek walk  I think my favourite was the beach fun.For lunch I had an ham cheese and lettuce I was very happy that we didn’t have to wash any dishes. Our dinner was a big burger and some chips it was definitely my favourite dinner. In the morning we all packed up and got on the bus at went back to school, at school I got my lunch and then my mum came to pick me up.

I didn’t like sleeping in the tent\way to cold.

I enjoyed playing cards with friends.

Has your school went to topou bay for camp? let me know in the comments.

Parafed

WAL about how people with differences play sports.

Today some people came with some sports equipment for Arlen. First we went over some rules, like take care of the equipment and take care of each other. After we went of to play, there was badminton to play, jenga and some weird looking bouncy balls with fabric attached to them.I was just wandering around playing with stuff when I spotted April using the skipping ropes so I went over and played with her.I haven’t played the skipping ropes in a long time but I was really really awesome even better then April. Whaea P started a really fun game you had to be fast and you had to be listening, the game went on forever and then we decided to play bullrush.

I found it hard to play badminton.

I improved to skip with the skipping rope.

Did these people visit your school?comment to let me know.
